Tech for Good: Rebuilding Ukraine is an innovative hologram project featuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who addressed the global tech community via live stream from Kyiv to major tech conferences, including Founders Forum, Brilliant Minds, The Next Web, VivaTech, Dublin Tech Summit, The AI Summit at London Tech Week, and SuperReturn Berlin. The project highlighted the potential of advanced communication technologies in supporting humanitarian causes and fostering global dialogue.

A WIRED feature spotlights Uncorporeal, a stealth-mode VR company led by Sebastian Marino. Uncorporeal has developed a groundbreaking technique combining light-field capture and advanced processing to create realistic human performances in virtual environments with full positional tracking. This innovation potentially solves a major challenge in VR filmmaking by allowing filmed actors to be seamlessly integrated into CGI environments, preserving both the empathy of live-action video and the presence of computer-generated VR experiences.

David Levine's provocative holographic film installation, a disembodied narrator named Vox contemplates cultural value, political efficacy, and the role of art in our digital age, weaving together references from classical sculpture to cryptocurrency in a surreal, acerbic soliloquy. The critically acclaimed work, which premiered at the Jeu de Paume in Paris (2022) and the Museum of the Moving Image in New York (2023), presents a 20-minute looping narrative viewable in the round, challenging viewers to confront the complexities of our technologically mediated era.

NRF’s annual convention and expo brings together thousands of retailers looking for the newest and hottest ways to improve the customer experience, be inspired by leaders, and explore new and tested. In 2017, NRF created the Innovation Lab to highlight the technology transformation occurring across the retail industry. The Lab became the go-to destination for retail leaders and investors to learn about the latest tech trends firsthand. Over the last seven years, it has featured more than 350 companies, primarily early-stage venture-backed companies working to improve experience and convenience for consumers.

As an associate producer, I showcased emerging technologies for a participating company at Verizon Innovation Lab. My role involved experience design, system modeling, and discussing volumetric technology with Fortune 500 retailers.
Territory, an immersive VR experience exploring disability, race, and gender through the powerful medium of dance. This visionary project is a collaboration between Double Eye Studios, an award-winning XR studio connecting audiences around the globe by creating interactive stories and building transformative storyworlds, Kinetic Light (a disability arts ensemble), and incredible artists, including Kiira Benzing, Erika Barraza, Mark Wendell, and Elliott Mitchell, and Studio ZANYC.
Territory is not just another VR experience. It's a groundbreaking, immersive journey that explores the intersections of disability, race, and gender through the medium of dance. Featuring the remarkable disabled artists of Kinetic Light, this project pushes the boundaries of what's possible in VR.

Verizon showcased its 5G Ultra Wideband network at Super Bowl LIII, offering fans innovative ways to experience the game through 5G-powered viewing events, live streaming, and mobile gaming at the Verizon Super Bowl Experience in Centennial Olympic Park.

At Cannes Lions 2018, Evercoast Inc. introduced a revolutionary approach to affordable volumetric capture for XR content production. The company unveiled a system that combined off-the-shelf sensors with proprietary software, aiming to democratize XR content creation and address the industry's "content paradox." This scalable and portable solution, capable of using 2 to 20+ sensors, made high-quality 6DOF content more accessible to produce. Evercoast's innovation marked a significant step towards enabling independent producers and artists to experiment with XR storytelling, potentially accelerating the growth of the XR consumer base. Since this pivotal announcement, Evercoast has continued to thrive and evolve, maintaining its position at the forefront of volumetric capture technology and contributing to the ongoing development of the XR industry.

The Tribeca Festival's Immersive program continues to be a pioneering platform for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality experiences. Since its inception, it has showcased innovative works that push the boundaries of storytelling and artistic expression through immersive technologies. The program remains a significant part of the festival, highlighting the evolving role of immersive media in the future of entertainment and art.

In 2017, our short VR film "Fluffy" was accepted as a special guest to be part of the Tribeca Immersive Storytelling program, recognized as one of the first experiences of its kind.

"Alcatraz Island Lofts" is an experimental VR short that offers a satirical solution to San Francisco's housing crisis, imagining the historic Alcatraz prison converted into overpriced lofts in 2025. This dark comedy monologue, one of the first VR shorts of its kind, pushes the boundaries of immersive storytelling by combining social commentary with innovative technology. As a pioneering work in the VR landscape, it demonstrates the medium's potential for narrative experimentation and audience engagement.
